Port Said was a stop to let people off who wanted to go to Cairo for a visit to the pyramids and the museum. You can't imagine the pyramids until you are actually there. On our excursion we had time to go into a pyramid or ride a camel. It was a difficult choice. We chose the camel.
Alexandria is an interesting city to visit, but paled after Jerusalem and Cairo. We felt comfortable exploring Alexandria on our own. We returned to the ship in Alexandria.
